UA Foods Canada began in 2021 with a group of food experts from Calgary. In Canada, we own and operate Uncle Al’s, a brand we started in 2022. We aren’t just local. Uncle Al’s is in ten countries worldwide.
Currently, we have four Uncle Al’s restaurants in Alberta, and three more are opening soon. We’re proud members of the Canadian Franchise Association and the North American Food Franchise and Restaurant Management Industry.
UA Foods Canada is more than a business, it’s a passion project. And Uncle Al’s isn’t just a local spot, it’s known globally. Our goal is simple – to bring people together through great food.

Our Leadership
MUHAMMAD FARHAN SIDDIQUI
Before starting Uncle Al’s, Mr. Siddiqui, the director, and founder of Uncle Al’s Pizza, is the Chief Officer for Mia Pasta. In that role, he did extensive tasks that helped the company grow. His duties included finding potential franchisees, looking at real estate opportunities, managing the supply chain, and overseeing day-to-day operations.
Mr. Siddiqui also worked as the Area Director of Franchising and Operations for Western Canada at the Davis Group, which manages five diverse brands including Treats Café, Fit for Life, INS market, International News and Pure Health. Before getting into franchising, he worked as an assistant Vice President for a bank in Abu Dhabi.
ABBAS NOROOZI
Mr. Noroozi, is a company president of Uncle Al’s Pizza, started his franchise journey in 2003 with a Subway Franchise. Over nine years, he managed nine Subway outlets in two different cities. After moving to Calgary, Alberta, in 2018, Mr. Noroozi joined Mia Pasta, adding more experience to his already long resume.
His extensive background led to co-founding Uncle Al’s Pizza Canada Inc. with Mr. Siddiqui in 2021. Mr. Noroozi’s insights, gained through hands-on management of multiple franchises, contribute significantly to the vision and growth of Uncle Al’s Pizza.
